Remove a CUPS from Dcycle's authorization in Datadis

If Dcycle should stop reading the consumption of one electricity supply point (CUPS), you can withdraw access to that CUPS only in Datadis, without cancelling the whole authorization. This guide shows how to do it and how to check that your other CUPS stay authorized.

Before you start

  • You must be the holder of the supply point in Datadis.
  • Check which CUPS should stay authorized for Dcycle. You only want to remove one, not the others.

All steps in this guide happen on the Datadis portal. The Datadis interface is in Spanish, so button names are shown in Spanish with their English meaning.

Don't cancel the whole authorization

Don't click "Cancelar autorización" (Cancel authorization) if it applies to the whole authorized company. Dcycle would also lose access to all your other CUPS, and your electricity consumption would stop being imported.

Step 1: Sign in to Datadis

  1. Go to datadis.es and click “Acceder” (Sign in).
  2. Sign in with your username and password, or with your company’s digital certificate.
  3. Check that you are using the right profile: “Particular” (individual) or “Empresa” (company).

Step 2: Open the authorizations section

  1. In the side menu, go to “Mis suministros” (My supply points).
  2. Open the “Usuarios que he autorizado” (Users I have authorized) tab. You see the list of companies you have given access to.
  3. Find Dcycle (CIF B88511373) in the list.

Step 3: Find the CUPS you want to remove

  1. Open the details of Dcycle’s authorization.
  2. Find the specific CUPS you want to remove.
  3. Check that the other CUPS in the list should stay authorized.

Step 4: Remove only that CUPS

  1. In the authorization details, look for the list of authorized CUPS.
  2. Use the option to edit the authorized supply points and select the CUPS you want to remove.
  3. Unselect or delete only that CUPS.
  4. Save the changes and confirm if Datadis asks you to.

Step 5: Check that the CUPS was removed

  1. Go back to “Mis suministros” → “Usuarios que he autorizado”.
  2. Open Dcycle’s authorization again.
  3. Check that the removed CUPS no longer appears among the authorized supply points.
  4. Check that your other CUPS still appear as authorized.
  5. Check that Dcycle’s authorization is still active.

If Datadis doesn’t let you remove a single CUPS

Don’t cancel the whole authorization. Instead, contact Datadis support through the “Contacto” form on datadis.es and ask them to revoke access to that specific CUPS only.
