What is Datadis?
Datadis (Datos de distribución) is Spain’s national electricity data system. By connecting Dcycle to Datadis, your electricity consumption data is imported automatically — no manual invoices needed.
Prerequisites
- You need your CUPS number (printed on your electricity bill)
- A Datadis account — register at datadis.es if you haven’t already
- Authorize Dcycle as a third party in the Datadis portal
Connect your supply point
- Go to Data → Facilities
- Select the facility or click Create Facility
- In the Integrations tab, click Connect Datadis
- Enter your CUPS number
- Click Verify Connection
Dcycle will fetch your last 12 months of consumption data automatically.
How data syncs
- New consumption data is fetched daily
- Historical data going back up to 3 years is available (depends on your electricity distributor)
- Emissions are calculated automatically using the Spanish electricity grid factor
Troubleshooting
If the connection fails:
- Verify your CUPS number is correct (it’s a 20-22 character code starting with “ES”)
- Make sure you’ve authorized Dcycle as a third party in the Datadis portal
- Check that your Datadis account is fully activated (some distributors take 24-48h)
