What is Datadis?

Datadis (Datos de distribución) is Spain’s national electricity data system. By connecting Dcycle to Datadis, your electricity consumption data is imported automatically — no manual invoices needed.

Prerequisites

  • You need your CUPS number (printed on your electricity bill)
  • A Datadis account — register at datadis.es if you haven’t already
  • Authorize Dcycle as a third party in the Datadis portal

Connect your supply point

  1. Go to Data → Facilities
  2. Select the facility or click Create Facility
  3. In the Integrations tab, click Connect Datadis
  4. Enter your CUPS number
  5. Click Verify Connection

Dcycle will fetch your last 12 months of consumption data automatically.

How data syncs

  • New consumption data is fetched daily
  • Historical data going back up to 3 years is available (depends on your electricity distributor)
  • Emissions are calculated automatically using the Spanish electricity grid factor

Troubleshooting

If the connection fails:

  1. Verify your CUPS number is correct (it’s a 20-22 character code starting with “ES”)
  2. Make sure you’ve authorized Dcycle as a third party in the Datadis portal
  3. Check that your Datadis account is fully activated (some distributors take 24-48h)
