Upload received goods via CSV

Loading freight and logistics data is part of Scope 3 reporting. Use the upload template to add many shipments at once instead of entering them one by one. Dcycle parses the file, maps columns automatically, and flags rows that need manual review.

Steps

Step 1

Click “Data” in the left navigation.

Step 1

Step 2

Click “Categories” to see all data categories.

Step 2

Step 3

Open the “Received goods” category.

Step 3

Step 4

You’ll see existing shipment records, with totals at the top. To add more, look for the upload action in the top right — usually labelled “Add”, “Upload” or similar.

Step 4

Step 5

The upload flow follows the same pattern as other categories: download a CSV or Excel template, fill it with one row per shipment (origin, destination, weight, transport mode, date), and drag it back. Dcycle will map your columns and flag any row where the transport mode doesn’t match a known option.

Step 5

Step 6

For accurate emissions, fill in both the origin and destination cities with their country — Dcycle uses the route to calculate distance and applies the appropriate GLEC factor for the transport mode.
