Explore the emission factor database catalog
The Emission Factors Catalog shows every database Dcycle uses to calculate emissions — their versions, geographic scope, categories, and the number of available factors — all from one place.
Before you start
You need a Viewer role in your Dcycle organization.
Steps
Step 1
Click “Data” in the left navigation.
Step 2
Click “Emission factors” in the Data sub-navigation.
Step 3
Click “Catalog” to open the database catalog.
Step 4
The catalog lists all emission factor databases available in Dcycle: AIB, DEFRA, Ecoinvent, EPA, GHG Protocol, IEA, IPCC-GWP, MITECO, REE, and more. For each database you can see how many emission categories use it, the available versions, the geographic scope (Spain, Europe, GLO, United States…), and the latest version loaded on the platform.
Step 5
Use the catalog to verify which version of DEFRA or MITECO is currently active, to check the geographic coverage of a database before applying it, or to confirm that the latest version has been loaded. This is useful for audits and for justifying methodology choices in your GHG inventory or CSRD report.
